Our International Women’s Day festival was such a hit, we had to do it again. Guests shopped local women vendors, learned from panel experts who spoke to our theme: Empowering the Whole Woman, heard real life stories from women who have been positively impacted by Sol Sisters, and so much more.

​All proceeds raised went towards Sol Sisters programs that will serve marginalized women throughout the Bay Area with mental health, physical health, expressive arts, and professional development services.

The Evolve Conference was a vibrant, empowering brunch to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Sol Sister’s dedication to serving women throughout the Bay Area. Supporters enjoyed an elevated brunch experience paired with a dynamic program filled with music, performances, panelists, and fireside chat with keynote and former member of Destiny’s Child, Michelle Williams. A silent auction, welcome swag bag, and networking opportunities with local women leaders were included. Proceeds totaling over $37,000 went towards Sol Sisters programs that will serve marginalized women throughout the Bay Area with mental health, physical health, expressive arts, and professional development services.

Sol Sisters upholds an anti-racist, pro-Black, inclusive approach to our mission and values. In alignment with the Black Lives Matter movement, we hosted a panel discussion led by Black women that challenged attendees to listen, learn, and activate their allyship for the Black community. Attendees heard from a panel of Black women professionals regarding their personal experiences as Black women in America, and what they have witnessed across health, economic, and human rights disparities that are directly impacting the Black community.

Over 100 women from all over the Bay joined our second annual NTS mental health conference in San Francisco! Speakers, workshops, panelists, lunch provided by Mercado Lula, and sisterhood were just a few of the highlights from this memorable day. Your mental health matters!

In partnership with Athleta and Border Angels Bay Area, Sol Sisters engaged the community in a day of giving called Revive the Sol to assemble care packages that benefited women and families at the border. Volunteers brought care package items to the service day, assembled them, and many drove down to hand deliver Thank you to our friends at Red Bay Coffee Oakland for hosting us!

Our body and ability-inclusive physical health event is a hit every year and this year was no different! Hundreds of women of all shapes, sizes, and abilities joined together to move and celebrate their bodies! Thank you to the City of Oakland for supporting this event year after year!

Thank you to all who attended our second annual IWDF! Bringing to together local women makers, performers, and expert workshop facilitators is the example of empowerment we stand for!

Our first annual Nourish the Sol Mental Health Conference took place at the Marriott in San Francisco, CA. We brought together licensed clinicians to deliver a variety of mental health workshops pertaining to women. Our event sold out with over 100 women in attendance and was one of the first of its kind to offer low to no cost conference tickets to ensure Sol Sisters’ mission to deliver accessible, equitable services.

So good we had to do it again! There’s no better feeling than to move our bodies in the company of women who celebrate. Living in a world where body and weight discrimination directly plagues women can have deep effects on one’s mental health. Share the Health Fest promotes physical health without the one size fits all mindset. Thank you City of Oakland for allowing us to return!

We hosted our first International Women’s Day Festival and it was a big hit! Over 300 women joined us to shop local women vendors, enjoy phenomenal women performers, workshops, and more! We even provided free child care so the mamas could join in on the fun too. We can’t wait to see you next time!

Share the Health Fest was our first large scale community event, and wow did y’all show up and show out! Over 150 women of all physical abilities, shapes, and sizes enjoyed a day of fitness stations that they could try. Our fitness instructors ranged from Zumba, to cycling, yoga, and more! Thank you to our guests and partners for making this event a huge success!
